Inside Sales – MSP Account Manager – mid-sized company

This inside sales job involves selling products or services to customers over the phone, email, or online platforms, without conducting face-to-face interactions. The primary goal of inside sales representatives is to build relationships with potential clients, identify their needs, and close sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and lead generation: Research and identify potential customers through various channels, such as databases, social media, and referrals.
  2. Cold calling and outreach: Initiate contact with prospective clients through phone calls, emails, or other communication methods to introduce products/services and generate interest.
  3. Building relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their requirements and preferences better.
  4. Product knowledge: Thoroughly understand the features and benefits of the products/services being offered to effectively communicate value propositions to potential customers.
  5. Sales presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the needs of individual clients.
  6. Handling objections: Address customer concerns and objections in a professional and persuasive manner to overcome barriers to the sale.
  7. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing with customers to close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability.
  8. Closing sales: Secure sales and achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  9. CRM management: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  10. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as sales managers, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and seamless sales process.

Qualifications:

  1. Sales experience: Prior experience in inside sales, telesales, or other relevant sales roles is often preferred.
  2. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information and building rapport with customers.
  3. Persuasion and negotiation skills: Ability to influence and negotiate with customers to achieve sales objectives.
  4. Product knowledge: A solid understanding of the products or services being offered and the industry in which the company operates.
  5. Goal-oriented: A driven individual who is motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  6. Resilience: Inside sales can be challenging, so the ability to handle rejection and bounce back is crucial.
  7. Time management: Effective organizational skills to manage multiple leads and opportunities efficiently.
  8. Adaptability: Capable of adapting to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  9. Technical proficiency: Familiarity with using sales software, CRMs, and other relevant tools.
